I'm on a date with Sybil, who seems to be a cannibalistic seductor/tress. I learn more about them through observing and talking, and I ended up getting eaten by them in my first playthrough. Second time around I got an offer from them to essentially be their sex slave (?) in exchange for not being eaten.
The only issue I had was that the option for exploring some choices would disappear before I could get to them, and games like this I really enjoy going through every choice possible before continuing. However, this did help move the story along at a reasonable pace, and overall the game was still satisfying.
The red text, dim background, and jazzy music all play really important roles in setting the mood of the game. I felt a mix of tension in the mystery of Sybils character and calmness from being in a warm, familiar restaurant.
The part where I'm able to choose my steak to be cooked "blue" was interesting because I've never heard that term before and thought it was just a joke option, but it's apparently real and exactly as Sybil describes it. They also imply they're not human in this interaction which made me more invested in their character afterwards.
I am on a date with Sybil, who is some sort of vampire (I think). My character seems really enamored with them. I eventually end up as their pet.
I didn't run into any technical issues. The use of the background image was really good at creating some context for the narrative. At some points the candle would make the writing hard to read, so perhaps it just needs to be darked a little more.
The writing was great. The descriptions were very rich and they gave me a good sense that my character was hypnotized by their date. I also enjoyed the ways in which you highlighted the awkwardness of a first date, even though it was never ambiguous that my partner was some sort of monster. It also highlighted the differences between the two characters; one being exquisite and the other feeling out-of-their-league.
I am interested in your choice to leave things hanging with a question and initially felt quite insistent that the lack of choice was a bug (I even zoomed out the page). Perhaps it all happened so fast towards the end that I was expecting things to be drawn out a little more?
On a date with an attractive kinda freaky butcher and I ended up getting eaten <3 The black on red for the text and background set the scene to be incredibly unsettling yet it drew me in. The dim restaurant picture helped me envision the setting more and more. Enjoyable from start to finish!!!!!!
On a date with a very sexy nonbinary cannibal i would totally let them murder me. I got the ending where she kills you (big win). I like the returning back to certain prompts that change as the date goes on. I think the audio may have been a little too quiet, i barely noticed it at all even with my volume up. I love the background being the resterunt and the color pallette works so well. Im obsessed with Sybil. Very much love them.
I am on a date with someone at this restaurant. In the end I was eaten by my date and I here I thought it was going great. I had no issue as I played. The background changing as the story goes on getting darker or redder really add on to how the date is going. I did played it again. This time I am now their house pet, well at least I didn't get eaten. When I was observing their hands it was described to be soft and that they haven't work a day in their life quite interesting.
This game is about you on a date with a vampire (?) type person, and you're able to interact with them and learn more as you progress. I got the ending where you become their pet and survive (?). Overall, I am completely obsessed with the way Sybil is written, their dialogue, descriptions, mannerisms, etc. are all so charming & alluring. I wish there was art of them, but also leaving it up to the player's imagination combined with the descriptions is also a really strong choice and keeps the player engaged. The background and text colors were also really effective at creating the atmosphere.
I definitely want to see the other endings, but overall I really love this one!!
I'm on a date with some weird butcher person, and in the ending I got turned into a pet I assume (It wouldn't let me actually agree or disagree). I didn't have any technical issues, and I thought the pacing was good. I liked the music, and thought it was good for the atmosphere. I liked how in the end instead of eating me or being a vampire or something they just started shining light? which was kind of funny.
You are on a date with a strange person. I got the ending where Sybil wanted to keep me as a pet. No tech issues but I did find the bright red on hard black quite straining to read. The classy restaurant music in the background with the lack of people oriented noise was nice and sold the fact that we were the only patrons around. I thought the writing, especially around Sybil was very effective at communicating their allure and how otherworldly and attention grabbing they are. I overall enjoyed the writing in this.
A candle lit dinner with a mysterious date that is interested in eating the character you play as. the ending I received was that they lost interest in me and berated my existence and stood me up:'( The visual of the game is successful in creating a atmosphere! I felt immersed enjoying the date. overall this game is well written and very detailed I felt nervous irl going on a date with sybil
I'm on a date with Sybil, who is a very strange date. Somehow I still want to impress them, despite so many reasons that I should leave. In my first playthrough, I got rejected, which is better than becoming a pet or getting eaten in my opinion! There were a couple spelling mistakes but they didn't detract from the experience. The audio was nice but honestly I wouldn't mind it at a higher volume either, and the visual aesthetic was great for setting the scene. I enjoyed all the descriptions of the visuals, and since this game takes place in a static setting, having more details in the environment and characters was cool!
I'm on a date with Sybil in a super dark restaurant and they are kinda off off-putting and turn out to be a cannibal or some non-human creature. I received the ending where I was thrown on the table and I can only assume I got eaten. No issues hindered my playthrough. The audiovisual media was amazing. The subtle music in the background and the background of the dark restaurant and the person who is just a dark figure really created an unsettling environment. I enjoyed ordering my steak and then when Sybil said my order was basic or something like that and then I realized that they eat raw raw stuff, then that totally changed my perception of the date.
This is the story of a candlelight dinner with a pica (perhaps an ogre/cannibal). Since I personally have a fetish in this area, I think the background of this story is very romantic ~ although I finally reached the ending where I didn't succeed in leaving, but was killed and eaten (I like the ending line very much).
A small personal suggestion: I would like to be able to hear background music or other sound effects. I really like the current background, it has a nice atmosphere, I noticed that it seems to change color when his unhappy, which is a nice design!
I really like the description of the characters in the game text, which makes the characters feel very charming!
I play an unnamed protagonist who goes on a date with a vampire named Sybil. In the end, I get Sybil to like me and they make me their pet. not the worst ending to be fair. I really enjoyed this game too! the writing was well done and painted a vivid picture of the date. Furthermore, the background music and art helped elevate the story. Well done!
youre on a date with a cannibal you learn more and continue the date untill i eventually tried to leave and got attacked by her. i didnt hear anything in the background at all but besides that no problems. i really enjoyed the way you described everything
You play as a person on a very creepy date :) I got the ending where she kills you, I dont know if there are other endings but I think the thing that set her off was me ordering my steak well done LOL. My only issue with playing the game was with visibility - I had a hard time reading the text once it got to the bottom of the screen where the candle was. I really liked the background though! It worked really well with the atmosphere and i loved the slight shift to red once i tried to leave. I think music or sound would have helped a lot here as well, maybe the sound of a candle burning or soft classical music to really set the eerie mood. Super cool!

Really good stuff.
